Rated 1 out of 5 by Unremarkable I wanted to start a Retinol regime to help smooth and prevent premature aging, I was recommended this product line by a devout user. I can not say enough bad things about it. Out of the three products I have tried, this is the least bad - marginally. It claims to be for sensitive skin and help reduce the sever effects of a more potent Retinol, so I assumed this would be a good starting point. The only positive thing I can say is I did not have any sever negative side effects a full Retinol product could cause. No redness or pro-longed irritation. As a matter of fact it does nothing. It does not moisturize as it does not absorb into the skin, it rolls off onto your fingers into little balls. The product suggests you use alone or under your nightly moisturizer, after applying this it rubbed right off and then my moisturizer was applied leaving my face feel like I had a thin layer of plastic on it from the attempted application of the Nighttime Retinol. I figured I had to "get used to it" so the first night I went to bed feeling like I had a plastic mask on. I woke up with dry skin. The second night I had to re-wash my face because that same plastic feeling came back. Over all not a good product at all! April 12, 2013
